Images for Digipak/Print Advert

These photos were taken on our last day of filming. I made sure to take a variety of images for the performer as the image is the most important aspect of the music video.

I don't think I'll use this image for my print work as the quality isn't very good. I do, however like the way you can see the guitar on his back and that he is in a naturalistic environment. This supports the genre and the brand identity of the artist.

This image is clearer and the artist is also the focal point of the image. I may use this image in my print advert.

This image wasn't very successful as the bag is shown on the left hand side and the artist is smiling which isn't what I wanted from the shot. I would like the artist to look slightly sad so that it illustrates the mood of the music video and the song. The colours, along with the lighting in this image look fairly dull.

I would like to use this image in my digipaks as it's clear, high quality and shows the artist with his guitar. It's a medium shot which would be suitable for one of the panes on my digipaks. The lighting is also better in this shot as are the colours - they show more of a contrast; therefore, creating a bolder and stronger image.

The lighting in this image is too high key on his face, the audience wouldn't be able to see him clearly - which wouldn't be successful in boosting the artist's brand identity.

I like this image as the colours are bold and the light reflection is effective. I may use this on one of the panes - preferably the last one which is where I could put the tracking listing on.
