The font at the top of the print advert will have a central lining and will be larger than the font at the bottom of the page. This is due to the artist's name and album being the most important source of information and the most important in elevating his brand identity. The font will be bold to ensure that it will stand out against the background and it will be in black. The artist name and album will have a different font style to the other text on the page.
I have chosen Island Records to be the record label for my artist as they aren't one of the hugely recognised labels, such as: Sony or Universal; however, they have signed artist's including: Gotye. The logo will be smaller than what I have drawn but will be placed beneath the album name and artist name.
The background image will fill the whole page; however, it will be blurred behind the artist to ensure that he is the focal point, it will also be blurred out towards the bottom of the page in order to let the audience read the information clearly. The colours on the page will be of the woodland - this will consist of browns, greens and oranges which are all earthy and naturalistic colours. This is to symbolise the genre of music and the main single 'Comfort You'.
The information at the bottom of the page will include ratings from genre specific magazines, a website, the information for the release date and an 'Available to download now' on iTunes.
